Junior Camp

Time: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Tuition: $200 per student
Final Showcase Performance: Friday, June 28, at 1:00 PM

The 5-day Junior Musical Camp is designed for students entering grades 1–5, as well as teens with no prior theater experience who are excited to explore the world of musical theater. Campers will learn the basics of theater, including songs and dances from a variety of musicals, in a fun and supportive environment.

What to Bring:

  • Packed lunch, snacks, and water
  • Comfortable clothing suitable for movement activities


Senior Camp

Dates: July 7–25, 2025 (Weekdays Only)
Time: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Tuition: $400 per student
Final Public Performance: Friday, July 25, 2025

The 15-day Senior Musical Camp is open to students entering grades 6–12. This immersive experience guides participants through the entire process of producing a musical, from auditions and rehearsals to technical production and final performance. Students will gain valuable hands-on experience and develop teamwork, creativity, and performance skills.

Both camps provide an engaging and supportive environment where students can build confidence, discover their talents, and experience the joy of performing on stage.

Senior Musical Theater Camp

Package Overview

  • Target Camper Age: Graduated Grades 6-12
  • Students will work together to produce the musical play Anastasia Youth Edition.
  • Students will learn the process all the way from auditions, to rehearsals, technical assistance, and a final performance.
  • All students get a camp t-shirt.

Please visit our office within 7 days after registration at 201 S. Magnolia Ave., Sanford Office Hours: Monday through Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm.

Children should arrive each day wearing comfortable clothing and movable shoes (no flipflops or sandals) so the camper can move and dance with ease. We ask that parents provide a packed lunch that includes plenty of water. No microwave is available.

Please note that after care is NOT available.

Ritz Theater Youth Summer Camps

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Ritz Theater will offer scholarships to subsidize camp tuition to a limited number of underserved youths. This application is for families residing in “Seminole County” who wish to be considered for a scholarship to subsidize the tuition cost for either the Junior or Senior Camps.

To qualify, the student must live in Seminole County and qualify based on the Florida Income Eligibility Guidelines used by the Seminole County Public School System. Scholarships are awarded on a first come-first serve basis. Limited funding is available.

If you are applying for more than one child, please submit a different application for each in your household.

Once you submit your application, you will be notified of scholarship status no later than 30 days before the first day of camp or within 7 days if your application was submitted within 29 days of camp starting.

Scholarship funds are provided through funding provided by Helpful Hands, Inc., Sanford Porch Fest, and anonymous individuals.
